What are the responsibilities and job description for the Crew Coordinator position at The Solar Community?
Job Description:
We are looking for a reliable and energetic individual to lead our growing sales crew in supporting NY’s transition to clean energy! The successful candidate should have experience in and knowledge of the solar energy field or relevant energy sales experience, along with door to door sales. Effective communication skills are necessary, as this individual will be providing in-field training and overseeing day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities:
- Provide orientation and in-field training to sales crew members
- Coordinate travel to assigned residential neighborhoods for prospecting potential customers
- Engage with homeowners, sharing information on the benefits of solar and local community solar farms
- Support customers in registering for community solar to receive energy credits
- Collaborate with the sales team on a daily basis to ensure the customer’s transition to solar is seamless
Job Requirements:
- Professional, consultative approach to in-home presentations and proposals
- Ability to speak passionately about the positive impacts of sustainable solar energy
- Must be at least 18 years of age and authorized to work in the U.S
- Reliable transportation to and from office, Monday-Friday
- Must have a cell phone that includes data
- Entrepreneurial mindset

Pay: $1,500.00 - $2,500.00 per week
