Compensation:
- Base salary plus commission with target earnings exceeding $100K annually.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Uphold our core values in a low-pressure sales environment.
- Attend training sessions to become a consultative sales professional.
- Maximize income by closing leads and helping families transition to solar energy.
- Provide timely quotes and prepare contract materials and utility paperwork.
- Accurately prepare job packets for drafting and operations teams.
- Maintain ongoing communication with customers to ensure high satisfaction.
- Assist with collections as needed.
- Participate in marketing events such as home shows and community events.
- Stay updated on utility incentives and state and federal tax credits.
- Follow up on leads promptly.
- Be flexible with your work schedule, including some weekends.
- Respect and maximize the leads provided by The Solar Store.
Work Experience Requirements:
- Valid Driver’s License and eligibility for The Solar Store’s automobile insurance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to move ladders and work on roofs.
- Construction experience is a plus.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years of experience, or
- Associate degree in a related field with 8 years of experience, or
- High School Diploma or GED with 10 years of progressive sales experience.
