About this Role
We are seeking a Level 2 Software Engineer (SWE) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will design, develop, test, and maintain complex and diverse software systems that support critical operations. You’ll work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to enhance system performance, develop innovative software solutions, and ensure seamless integration across a range of applications. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated engineer to contribute to impactful projects in a fast-paced, agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance specifications.
- Design, code, and debug software to add new features or resolve defects.
- Integrate and adapt existing software for new or modified systems and operating environments.
- Develop simple data queries for databases and data repositories.
- Create and review software and system documentation.
- Use orchestration frameworks such as Spring and Kafka for development.
- Collaborate with system engineers and hardware engineers to define software requirements and address project limitations.
- Implement and refine algorithms to meet strict performance and functional standards.
- Utilize container technologies like Docker and develop event-driven or data-driven analytics.
- Develop, test, and deploy software solutions using agile development practices and continuous integration methodologies.
