Hotel Room Attendant / Housekeeper

$22-$24/ hour, Part-Time or Full-Time opening

We are looking for a Room Attendant to join our award winning team and provide excellent customer service to our hotel guests. Room attendant responsibilities include changing towels, making beds and cleaning bathrooms. You will address clients’ queries and make sure our rooms are fully-stocked, clean and inviting at all times. If you have an impeccable eye for the small details, we’d like to meet you! Ultimately, you will ensure a pleasant and comfortable experience for our guests during their stay with us.

We look for flexibility with workdays and hours, including working weekends and some holidays. Shift would be 8:30am-5pm weekdays, 9am-5:30pm weekends. We are flexible and usually able adjust schedules to work with your availability!

Responsibilities

• Change bed linen and make beds
• Replace used towels
• Sweep and mop floors
• Vacuum carpets
• Clean bathrooms
• Dust furniture
• Replenish bath care products (e.g. soap and shampoo)
• Report any technical issues and maintenance needs
• Address guests’ queries (e.g. on additional services)
• Ensure all assigned rooms are clean and tidy by the end of the shift
• Follow hotel security guidelines

Skills

• At minimum, two (2) years of previous work experience as a Room Attendant required
• Experience with industrial cleaning equipment and products
• Flexibility to work in shifts
• Ability to follow instructions

This position involves continuous movement, regularly bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, and moving up to 25-40 pounds.
