Reporting to : Project Superintendent
Location : 152 Conant Street, Beverly, MA (not a remote position)
Shift : Full Time M-F, 7am to 4pm
Summary
The Commercial Carpenter / Laborer supports all trades personnel on our construction projects by performing essential, basic carpentry tasks, daily preparation and clean-up of the job site, and other various construction tasks, under the supervision of the Foreman / Superintendent.

Responsibilities
- Proper handling of building materials this includes but is not limited to : loading / unloading, organization and distribution of machinery and tools to the appropriate personnel and work areas, according to the direction of the superintendent
- Erect and disassemble scaffolding, shoring, braces, traffic barricades, ramps and other temporary structures
- Measure, mark and record openings and distances
- Grind, chip, scrape, sand and polish various surfaces
- Build, position and dismantle forms for pouring concrete
- Perform other rough carpentry tasks as needed
- Assist in maintaining a clean and professional job site
- Other duties manual labor and seasonal tasks as needed
