Job Title: Outreach Intern
FLSA Status: Non-exempt, $18.75 / hour
Classification: Part-Time, 10-15 hours weekly
Supervises: None
Reports to: Outreach and Community Engagement Specialist
Position Description

Qualifications:
- Be a committed Christian who demonstrates a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord
- Exhibit strong commitment and dedication to honoring the sanctity of human life and sexual purity
- Agree with and uphold the Statement of Principle, Statement of Faith and the organization's policies
- Attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Volunteer experience preferred
- Some evening and weekend availability required

Essential Job Functions:
- Support the OCES in processing and organizing volunteer paperwork
- Support the OCES in coordinating volunteer group projects at clinics
- Assist the OCES in planning and executing volunteer appreciation (planning gifts and/or events as needed)
- Research and connect with relevant local churches and church contacts for church referral list for clients
- Attend Health Fairs, Mission Fairs, and other community festivals and events to promote awareness of The Source and our services
- Research new community organizations and non-profits in Austin and Houston to connect and partner with. Collaborate with the OCES to make initial contact
- Assist the OCES in planning, coordinating, and executing community outreach events to promote The Source to the local community
- Assist the OCES in planning and hosting virtual informational sessions to promote The Source to community organizations in Austin and Houston
- Other duties as assigned
