Job Summary
This role requires a Medical Assistant with at least 2 years of healthcare experience. Key responsibilities include:
- Communicating with patients in a professional, respectful, and confidential manner via phone.
- Triage and assessment of patient medical and service needs to ensure high-quality care and optimal patient flow.
- Effective communication with patients, staff, physicians, and other service areas using telephone, computer, and fax.
- Knowledge of general insurance guidelines and requirements to direct patient care.
- Proficiency in computer systems for patient registration, appointment scheduling, and phone messaging.
Requirements
- Completed MA education, certification, or registration required.
