What are the responsibilities and job description for the Home Health Care Aide position at The Southeast Tennessee Human Resource Agency?
Homemaker/Personal Care Aides work independently within client's homes. The aides daily routine may vary from day to day while working with up to 4 clients each day. Duties may include but are not limited to housekeeping services, general cleaning inside a home, laundry, possible meal planning and preparation, grocery shopping, errands, handling client monies to pay bills and other assistance of daily living activities. Our aides provide primarily stand by supervision assistance when providing personal care to individuals. However, each case in not the same and there may be hands on assistance with personal care. The position requires use of technological devices and applications (tablets and apps for emails, schedules, communication etc.). The position also requires a pre-employment drug screen and back ground check. Must possess and maintain a valid Tennessee Driver license, reliable transportation and automobile insurance.
