We currently have an exceptional career opportunity for a Recovery Coach to join our team at the at the Lebanon Pines Program, located at 37 Camp Mooween Road, in Lebanon, CT.
Job Description:
The Recovery Coach will provide one to one client engagement including referral, linkage, and coordination of wrap around services according to individual needs. The Recovery Coach will assist the individual with integrating relapse prevention skills and independent living skills while engaged in treatment, clinical services for individuals regarding behavioral, substance abuse,
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Assist client with filing complaints and follow-up with proposed resolution as needed, finding resources.
- Assist with avoidance of behaviors that might lead to a psychiatric crisis.
- Assist with avoidance of risky behaviors, substance abuse, unnecessary conflict and help to facilitate effective decision making and problem solving
- Assist client with securing transportation and provide direct transportation when needed
- May provide the additional non-clinical hours of weekly programming
- All employees are expected to participate in the orientation of new employees and the transfer of knowledge necessary for the performance of duties.
Education and/or Experience:
People with lived experience in recovery are encouraged to apply.
High school or equivalent.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Peer Certification (CAC, CPRS) must be obtained by one of the state-approved certification boards (CCB).
Valid Driver's license required.
Acceptable driving record with no or minimal infractions required.
