What You’ll Do:
- Assist licensed Speech-Language Pathologists in delivering school-based therapy services to students with speech and language disorders.
- Implement individualized therapy plans and activities to support students' academic, social, and communication goals.
- Work one-on-one and in small groups with students in the classroom and therapy settings.
- Track and document students’ progress, ensuring accurate and timely reporting in accordance with school requirements.
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to create a supportive learning environment for students.
- Provide guidance and recommendations to educators and families on strategies to support speech and language development in the classroom.
- Foster an encouraging and inclusive atmosphere for students as they work towards their therapy goals.
What We’re Looking For:
- A valid SLPA license
- Previous experience working with children, preferably in an educational or school setting.
- Passion for helping students reach their full potential and succeed in the classroom.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and families.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to document student progress accurately.
