Overview
The Admissions Operations Manager, reporting to the Director of Admissions and Financial Aid is an integral part of the admissions team, enabling The Spence School to fulfill the mission and goals for the School established by the Head of School and Trustees. The Admissions Operations Manager is part of a team that welcomes, informs and guides prospective families through the admissions and enrollment process. This role ensures the integrity of admissions data, builds and maintains system workflows. The admissions operations manager supports the admissions office by managing critical systems and data reporting while also playing a key role in the daily operations and logistics of the office environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Engage as a key member of a dynamic and high-performing admissions team, ensuring seamless collaboration and efficiency
- Project manage and collaborate with various departments to support key admissions initiatives.
- Oversee admissions systems, workflows and tools
- Maintain and analyze admissions data with proficiency in Google Workspace and admissions-related software.
- Generate reports and dashboards that track key admissions metrics
- Familiarity with data visualization tools
- Serve as a contact for prospective families supporting them through the full admissions cycle from interest to enrollment, ensuring a seamless and personalized experience
- Provide logistical and administrative support to the Office of Admissions, contributing to the overall organization and execution of seasonal projects and outreach efforts
- Perform other duties as assigned, demonstrating adaptability, strong problem-solving skills and a solutions-oriented mindset
Qualifications
- Baccalaureate degree
- 3 years of operational work experience
- Able to thrive in both collaborative team environments and and independent work settings
- Proficiency in Excel, Google Workspace and reporting tools
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Experience working with datasets and building reporting tools
- Communicates effectively through strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills
- Manages complex tasks with precision and care demonstrating excellent organizational and technology proficiency
- Is proactive, resourceful and adaptable
- Commits to a flexible schedule including evening and weekends as needed.
- Upholds strict confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive information

Salary : $85,000 - $95,000
