We are searching for a Continuous Improvement Analyst to assess, monitor, and improve the performance of our Manufacturing and Fulfillment operations. In this role, you will analyze our current operations and develop business process improvements as well as implement changes in workflows, structures, and teams to ensure continuous improvement in efficiency and effectiveness. This position reports to the VP of Operations and is based on-site in Elk Grove Village, IL.
Responsibilities:
- Identifying opportunities for improvement in our operations, and ultimately implementing change that drives meaningful improvements in efficiency, capacity, and on-time delivery
- Measuring company processes and procedures and analyzing data to identify and prioritize projects that will obtain the highest ROI.
- Project managing multiple initiatives. Working and communicating cross-functionally to achieve buy-in from the team, and ultimately implementing lasting change.
- Routinely shadowing the floor operations and getting your hands dirty with the hourly team to fully understand their pain points, train on new initiatives, and ensure prior improvements are still being adhered to.
- Measuring all changes and reporting on the effectiveness with data.
- Establishing norms and standards of company performance, tracking and monitoring KPIs weekly.
- Collaborating with other stakeholders across the company to enhance productivity and staff satisfaction with our Operations and procedures.
- Communicating ideas and opinions to other members of management.
- Training, mentoring, and guiding team members in new processes.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, process management, operations, or a similar field.
- Minimum 2 years experience in process optimization, operations, or business management, ideally in food manufacturing.
- A sharp eye for identifying weak points in processes and organizational structures.
- Understanding of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles, and how to implement them in a manufacturing environment.
- Analytical mindset with dynamic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- An excellent communicator that can lead and enact organizational change from the hourly employees up to Operations leadership.
- Be on-site at least 4 days a week. This job will require you to get on the floor with the hourly teams to fully understand where the opportunities are, and to successfully implement changes.

Compensation: All-in compensation package ranges from 60-80k based on experience
