Job Type: Full-Time non-exempt
Schedule: The role is primarily Monday - Friday, with opportunities for flexible scheduling based on business needs.
Job Responsibilities
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience: At least one year of work experience as an HR assistant or relevant human resources/administrative position.
Unique Skills: High attention to detail and excellent organizational and time-management skills. Hands-on experience with HRIS software. Experience with MS Office applications. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Understanding of employment laws and regulations as well as industry-specific regulations. Strong interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Job Responsibilities
- Assist with day-to-day operations of HR functions and duties.
- Provide clerical and administrative support to Human Resources.
- Maintain personnel records, including employee files and medical and benefit files.
- Update the HRIS system (e.g., new hires, separations, vacation, and sick leaves).
- Coordinate HR projects, meetings, and training seminars.
- Coordinates onboarding experience for new hires and hiring manager for positive and timely outcomes, including background, benefits enrollment, completing I-9, entering data into HRIS, providing/receiving paperwork, check-ins, reviews, creating employee files/toolkits, etc.
- Assist in preparing reports and presentations for internal communications.
- Schedules orientation and training sessions for new employees.
- Supports recruiting tasks, including posting jobs, scheduling interviews, communicating with candidates, providing necessary paperwork, closing jobs, etc.
- Partners with the HR Director to support employee questions/matters, general administration, coordination, document drafting, invoice review, etc.
- Assists with payroll administration by entering changes, submitting payroll accurately and within the deadline, reviewing with the HR Director, ensuring proper documentation is recorded, etc.
