JOB DESCRIPTION QUALIFICATIONS
PURPOSE
Technical Director is responsible for the overall coordination and administration of the Live Production department overseeing staff/volunteers who operate the following: Audio, Lighting, ProPresenter, Livestream, Cameras, Switcher, Ultra Studio 4K, Smart Video Hub, ATEM 2M/E Production Studio 4K as well as oversight to all production volunteers.
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES
- Manage audio and visual live production for online and in-person services
- Maintain all media equipment to ensure they are working properly and schedule necessary maintenance.
- Schedule, manage, and care for the live production volunteers.
- Approves all videos and broadcasts prior to be shown. Makes necessary recommendations/edits as needed.
- Support Creative Arts Director to improve services, drive creativity, and execute new ideas/technology.
- Monitor Livestream to ensure highest quality
- Troubleshoot any live production challenges if they arrive
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience working with Blackmagic Video System
- Experience in live production atmosphere
- Knowledge with Pro-Presenter
- Experience Livestream
- Love for God
- Love for people
- Attitude of a servant, enjoyable to be with and devoted to the call of God and the Church
- Knowledge of general cleaning and maintenance
- Prior experience with cleaning materials, equipment, and supplies
- Must be willing to lift a minimum of 25 lbs
- Must always practice proper lifting and workplace safety
- Attend safety training classes
- Work Ethic that is excellent, protective, and frugal with time and money
- Must have the ability and desire work with a spirit of excellence
