Lead Dog Trainer

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Lead Dog Trainer to join our team in Knoxville, TN. The ideal candidate must have exceptional people skills, a passion for working with dogs, and a willingness to continually learn and improve. Timeliness, responsibility, and a strong work ethic are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead dog training sessions for clients and their pets.
• Work one-on-one with clients to understand their dog’s needs and provide tailored training programs.
• Ensure a positive and engaging environment for both dogs and their owners.
• Maintain clear communication with clients regarding training progress.
• Assist in developing new training programs and techniques.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a dog trainer or working with animals.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong time management skills and punctuality.
• Ability to work with a variety of dog breeds and temperaments.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new training methods.

Pay: $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Weekends as needed
