LPN / Licensed Practical Nurse  POSITION SUMMARY :

A  LPN / Licensed Practical Nurse  is one of the main support providers to our residents. The position aids residents in the Assisted Living  through assessments and care planning, medication and treatment management, implementation, and evaluation of resident plans of care, documentation of nursing services and enabling residents to lead a quality life while maintaining their dignity. The position will enhance the lives of older adults by assisting them with patience and a friendly smile all while embracing teamwork and collaboration among all staff.

Essential Duties :

  • On-site visits at least every 45 days for completion of individualized assessments.
  • Be available on call as required as per regulatory standard or have a qualified alternate delegating nurse available on call.
  • Provide appropriate delegation of nursing tasks.

Responsibilities :

  • Oversee and manage all aspects of nursing operations within the facility
  • Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to ensure quality patient care
  • Supervise and provide guidance to nursing staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans and monthly summaries
  • Aide the administrator with managing shift schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels to meet patient needs
  • Monitor resident rights and advocate for their well-being
  • Stay up-to-date with advancements in nursing practices and implement changes as needed
  • Work med shift, med pass administration and ADL when operating floor.
