Job Description:
As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant at The Springs of Richmond, you will be responsible for providing therapeutic interventions in an interdisciplinary environment consistent with the position's qualifications, professional practices, and ethical standards. Your primary goal will be to enhance patients' functional abilities and independence through various exercises, activities, and adaptive techniques. You will work closely with occupational therapists to develop and implement treatment plans, document patient progress, and educate patients and families on recovery strategies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant from an accredited program
• 0-1 years of experience
• Current, valid state OTA licensure or certification
• Current valid CPR certification (preferred)
