The Springs Resort and Spa is seeking a dependable and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role involves performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks to ensure our properties remain safe, functional, and well-maintained. Where You Can Make an Impact:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including landscaping, pest control, and basic building upkeep.
- Handle repairs involving HVAC systems, electrical work, plumbing, and carpentry.
- Conduct drywall repairs, painting, and flooring installations as needed.
- Complete specialized tasks such as asphalt repairs, seal coating, line striping, power washing, and window cleaning.
- Respond to tenant and management repair requests promptly and professionally.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential maintenance issues and address them proactively.
- Operate and maintain tools and equipment effectively to ensure high-quality results.
- Communicate effectively with management and team members about project progress and needs.
- Provide support for other maintenance projects as directed.
Requirements
Education/Formal Training:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational training in a relevant field is a plus.
Experience:
- Previous experience in maintenance or repair services, preferably in a property management or construction setting.
Knowledge/Skills:
- Familiarity with electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
