About the Role & What You'll Do:
We are looking for a Visual Designer to join our Communications service line to help uplevel and expand our design offering. We are looking for a first-class creative who can translate audience needs and business objectives into emotionally impactful designs that resonate. You will bring your experience in design for traditional and digital work products and a knack for creative problem-solving, developing design strategy and delivering outstanding creative work within client engagements. This includes planning, prioritizing, gathering feedback, and providing consultative support to bring complex concepts to life.
What you’d bring to Spur:
  • Develop concepts that address communication objectives and raise the bar for quality and excellence, and transform concepts into workable designs
  • Translate brand identities into visual expressions across a variety of collateral, such as presentations, videos, infographics, whitepapers, icons, and social posts
  • Work in partnership with fellow team members, collaborating on ideas and deliverables to ensure high-quality, timely delivery
  • Make progress reliably and autonomously, while proactively keeping team members and clients informed on status
  • Shape and provide input on internal processes to ensure smooth project execution
  • Lead client conversations related to client objectives and how design can support them, providing articulate recommendations and helping guide client choices
  • Present work confidently, capture feedback, adapt to client requests, and explore suggestions
  • Work with service line leaders on creative support for new business pitches and proposals, as well as offering development and growing our design discipline and capabilities
What you'll need (Requirements):
  • 5 years of visual design experience (this experience might involve a different job title, like “graphic designer,” “UI designer,” or “art director”)
  • A degree in graphic design, visual communications, or in a related design or artistic discipline
  • Experience working in an agency, consultancy, or similar professional services environment is ideal
  • Well-developed design skills illustrated by a portfolio of recent work samples
  • Proficiency with design and prototyping tools, including Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, & Photoshop
  • Expertise in Microsoft PowerPoint – layout work, iconography, photography, etc.
  • Knowledge of UX practices and interaction design
  • A passion for creating solutions that fulfill target audiences’ needs and taking ownership of deliverables from end to end

Preferred Qualifications

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to confidently present ideas
    • Proficiency with UI/UX tools, especially Figma
Additional Information:
Spur Reply (Formerly The Spur Group), part of the Reply Network, is a consulting firm based in Bellevue, WA. In our hybrid working environment, our general working hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. PT, Monday through Friday. While we strive for work/life harmony, client work may extend beyond these hours and may require flexibility in work arrangements.

The base compensation range for this full-time position is between $80,000-$110,000 plus benefits. Compensation decisions are supported through market data, where regional variances may exist based on cost of labor. We also take into consideration prior experience, relevant skills, education and/or training, certifications, and, as applicable, other required qualifications.
