The opportunity
Delaware North Parks and Resorts is searching for a Senior Accountant to join our field finance team at Squire Resort Holiday Inn located near the Grand Canyon. Our ideal candidate is an experienced accountant in the hospitality and/or food and beverage industries. If you are an organized self-starter, skilled in communicating effectively, preparing and analyzing general ledgers, and having a general understanding of internal and external audit practices, please apply.
Squire Resort Holiday Inn (322 rooms) is a resort sytle hotel located in Tusayan, AZ,directly outside of the Grand Canyon (South Rim National Park).

Pay
Minimum – Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $45,800 – $59,600 / year
In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. What will you do?
- Review, analyze, and reconcile general ledger account and analyze and interpret variances.
- Assist with the month and year-end financial audits, month-end close journal entry preparation, account reconciliations, and financial statement audits.
- Supervise an accounting clerk who is responsible for accounts receivable, and cash recording process within a centralized corporate process.
- Maintain required records, reports, and files in an organized manner.
- Assist property stakeholders as needed.

More about you
- At least three years of accounting-related experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
- Hospitality experience preferred.
- Proficent with Microsoft Office required, specifically Excel.
- BirchStreet, OneStream, Peoplesoft experience preferred.
- Opera or property management software experience preferred.
