The opportunity
Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring an Assistant Food and Beverge Manager to join our team at The Squire at Grand Canyon, a Holiday Inn Resort in Tusayan, Arizona. As an Assistant Food and Beverage Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the Food and Beverage Manager in the day-to-day running of restaurant operations. Pay
Minimum – Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $43,888 – $54,100 / year
In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. Only in special circumstances, where a candidate has education, training, or experience that far exceeds the requirements for the position, would we consider paying higher than the stated range. What will you do?
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures
- Maintain positive guest relations and high standards of service to ensure exceptional guest satisfaction
- Support the Food and Beverage Manager in training, motivating, and developing team members to maintain high performance and professionalism
- Assist with administrative tasks such as ordering and inventory and oversee scheduling, payroll, and point of sale systems
- Monitor and enforce health, safety, and sanitation standards in compliance with regulations
More about you
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role within the restaurant or hospitality industry, with a strong understanding of restaurant operations and guest service standards
- Knowledge of food and beverage service standards, health regulations, and safety procedures
- Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
- Proficient computer skills, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and point of sale systems
- Ability to obtain ServSafe, Food Safety Handler, and Training for Intervention Procedures certifications
- Capacity to work a flexible schedule to accommodate business levels
