The opportunity
Delaware North Parks and Resorts is searching for a full-time Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at The Squire at Grand Canyon a Holiday Inn Resort in Tuisayan, Arizona. As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing repairs and the replacement of facility mechanical, cosmetic, and operational equipment.

$21.00 – $21.00 / hour

What will you do?
- Communicating with the Maintenance Manager and/or property managers to prioritize work load.
- Overseeing the operation of maintaining, replacement or repair of all electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems, services and equipment.
- Maintains tools and maintenance equipment in working order and keeps maintenance room in neat condition.
- Maintaining paperwork, work orders and logs.
- Overlooking the operation of first, second and/or third shift.
- This is a driving position; the successful applicant must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Reports accidents, injuries, property damage or loss to supervisor.
- Provides for a safe work environment by following all safety and security policies and procedures.
- Provide administrative support which includes coordinating activities and meetings, preparing expense reports and processing invoices for proper delivery, arranging appointments, and contacting team members
More about you
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a supervisory position
- Experience with machinery, metalworking, landscaping, and locksmith duties
- Must have a general knowledge of the use of simple equipment used in building trades
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
- Previous experience with a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, and presentation software (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- No college degree required
Physical requirements
- Manual dexterity sufficient to use hand tools and paint
- Ability to stand, crouch, and climb ladders to perform repairs
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Exposure to outdoor weather conditions in all seasons
