Overview
The Squires Group is seeking a ServiceNow Developer/Maintainer for a direct hire position with our client, supporting a National Security Federal Program. This onsite role is available in either Springfield, VA, or Chantilly, VA—whichever location works best for you. Per our Federal Government Contract, candidates must be US Citizens with a TS/SCI clearance.
Responsibilities
- Advise the client on ServiceNow best practices, workflow automation, and user experience enhancements.
- Oversee system health and ensure compliance with ServiceNow standards.
- Develop and configure Client Scripts, Business Rules, ACLs, and other platform components.
- Manage application and platform upgrades.
- Handle data loading, manipulation, and maintenance within ServiceNow.
- Support integrations with third-party data sources.
- Design and generate ServiceNow reports and dashboards.
- Develop, implement, and maintain ServiceNow applications.
- Offer recommendations and design solutions for custom UX/UI development.
Qualifications
- Proficient in ServiceNow development, software installation, configuration, and system performance optimization.
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Scoped application development.
- Skilled in using UI Builder, App Engine Studio, or similar tools to create custom UX/UI portal pages and web experiences that enhance usability.
- Create and maintain documentation and technical specifications for IT teams to support planning and implementation of new or upgraded IT infrastructure.
- Experienced in advising teams and stakeholders on ServiceNow best practices in an enterprise environment.
- Knowledgeable in AGILE methodologies and processes.
- Capable of developing and applying advanced concepts and processes.
- Comfortable managing multiple specialized tasks.
- Leads and collaborates with junior and mid-level team members.
- Recognized as a subject matter expert (SME).
- Per our Federal Government Contract, candidates must be US Citizens, with an active Top Secret/SCI clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of ServiceNow workflows, client scripts, or data visualization (reports, performance analytics, UI Builder widgets)
- Working knowledge in Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), Hypertext Markup Language (HTML), JavaScript, Extensible Markup Language (XML), and JavaScript Object Notation (JSON)
- Working knowledge of Database administration (DB2, MySQL, MSSQL, etc.)
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range of $120K-$180K, based on experience, qualifications, location, and certifications. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
