The Squires Group is staffing for an upcoming initiative and is looking for a seasoned ServiceNow Development Manager to drive innovation in government service delivery within our clients Federal Customer Transformation Service Line. In this role, you will champion the modernization of government experiences through the ServiceNow Platform. The ideal candidate will possess strong presentation skills, a knack for creative problem-solving with minimalistic tools, and a proven track record in Human-Centered Design. Familiarity with Agile methodologies is essential, along with a proactive approach to challenging and improving the federal service landscape.

The work location is in the DMV (offering a partial hybrid schedule) and is expected to begin in September, 2024.
Per our Federal Government Contract, candidates must be US Citizens with a Secret Clearance (Top Secret is highly preferred.)
Responsibilities
- Lead teams of developers in designing, developing, and maintaining START, a ServiceNow-based solution tailored for federal requirements.
- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of ServiceNow products and capabilities, staying abreast of market trends and technological advancements.
- Collaborate with Project Managers and Deputy Project Managers to execute the Refugee Processing Center (RPC) project.
- Conduct proofs of concept to assess the technical feasibility of new application capabilities.
- Develop project estimates, manage schedules, and maintain effective communication with partners regarding new features and releases.
- Create and implement training plans to enhance the software engineering capabilities of your team.
- Establish and uphold coding best practices within an agile environment, ensuring consistent delivery of customer-focused features.
- Define code review standards to identify and resolve defects across functional, performance, and security aspects.
- Direct the development of unit tests for regression testing and code refactoring.
- Resolve application issues reported from production environments, particularly following new releases.
- Lead agile sprint efforts as the development lead, ensuring alignment with requirements and functional goals.
