Primary Responsibilities
This position will help cultivate the brand image of the St. Joe Companys portfolio of hospitality assets (hotels, club, restaurants, marinas and others) by executing the different aspects of the companys marketing strategies across all major marketing channels. This role requires a high level of creativity, excellent writing and editing skills, attention to detail, and project management skills. Our ideal candidate is a driven team player that excels in a fast pace and high growth working environment. This position supports the Club Director of Marketing and Resorts Director of Marketing positions.
Essential Job Functions
- Develop and execute awareness and promotional marketing campaigns for multiple hospitality division brands across all major channels.
- Develop and maintain a productive working relationship with all key departments.
- Leverage all in-property and company-wide cross-promotional and messaging opportunities.
- Coordinate special marketing projects to include, but not limited to video/photo shoots, marketing events and multi-media presentations.
- Maintains continuity of image and quality of production of all marketing materials per brand guidelines.
- Contributes to building brand image by working with freelance graphic designers and third-party creative agencies for all collateral needs. Strong communication skills needed to supply content for agencies to develop collateral, web/banner ads, print ad campaigns, etc.
- Coordinate and manage marketing requests for collateral such as event flyers and menus with hospitality marketing team; include drafting copy and performing proof reviews.
- Maintains an up-to-date image library for marketing and PR purposes.
- Manage website updates hotels, club, restaurants, and marinas.
- Manage and maintain website content and listings on third party sites, ensuring content is engaging, relevant and includes up-to-date imagery.
- Works with the marketing team to develop innovative strategies in order to attract customers to the companys brands through various web-based marketing programs including email marketing campaigns.
- Coordinate with the Marketing Content Manager on the social media accounts of related business units to support content creation and promotional support.
- Research unique and on-trend ideas for programming, packages, and offerings to support marketing goals for hotels, club, restaurants, marinas, and other company related websites.
- Create and deploy enews/e-blast promotions and marketing campaigns.
- Work at company events when necessary.
- Attend internal and external meetings as needed and coordinate and/follow up on assigned tasks.
- Process vendor invoices for payment.
General Skill/Qualifications
- Bachelors degree from four-year college or university; or four years or more related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience in marketing and/or communications.
- Hospitality experience, particularly in tourism marketing, hotel and/or restaurant marketing preferred.
- Knowledge of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint,) and Adobe products.
- Excellent communication/organizational skills required, including oral, written and presenting and responding to information from groups of managers, clients, customers and general public.
- Excellent guest/customer service skills required.
- Graphic design experience a plus, but not mandatory.
- Must be willing to work weekends and/or holidays as needed for the business or department.

Physical Demands:
