Job Summary: The role of a server is to serve all guests and/or members and take care of their needs and requests as it pertains to their dining experience. You are also responsible for bringing the guest and/or members incredible customer service by menu and product knowledge, completing correct orders, timely/friendly service, and anticipating and accommodating any and all of the guests and/or members needs.

- Ensure that food is prepared correctly and to customers satisfaction as well as company standards; returns incorrect or improperly cooked orders to kitchen
- Serves food and beverages to guests as per the restaurants standards in a friendly, timely and efficient manner
- Ensure that the guests have a pleasant dining experience
- Obtain complete knowledge about ingredients, flavors and suggestions about menu items
- Inform guests about special items for the day and menu changes.
- Take food and beverage orders
- Collect plates and clears the table as customers finish their meals
- Obtain revenues, issue receipts, accept payments
- Perform basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by supervisor
- Complete pre-shift and post-shift duties including setup and teardown of certain stations
- All other duties as assigned
Education and Experience
- Must be at least sixteen years old (at least 18 years old to serve alcoholic beverages)
- Previous experience as a server preferred
- Must successfully compete food safety, alcohol & job training.
- Sufficient education and literacy needed to identify and read product labels and to communicate with guests about job-related needs
- Ability to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in basic English preferred.
- Knowledge of special diets to ensure safety of guests when ordering food
- Basic Knowledge of Spirits, Beer, Wine & Beverages
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Well-organized with ability to take and place food and beverage orders accordingly
- Ability to operate point-of-sale systems
