The Staff Pad has partnered with a restoration company in Palatine, IL. We are looking for a Construction Estimator to join their growing team. This is an in-office position Monday-Friday. The ideal candidate will have a minimum two years experience in construction estimation and be proficient in Xactimate or another estimating software.

Roles and Responsibilities : The following is a general outline of duties and is subject to change as dictated by business needs.

• Process supplements for Roofing, Siding and Minor Trades

o Compare existing estimate to what was used for the build and building code required changes. Submits changes to insurance for review.

o Contact insurance carrier to ensure file has been received and is being actively reviewed

o Negotiate with insurance company to come to an agreement on final scope and price for work completed.

o Send estimates for branded gutters, garage doors, window screens, painting, etc. to insurance for approval

o Contact insurance carrier to ensure file has been received and is being actively reviewed

o Negotiate with insurance company to come to an agreement on final scope and price for work completed.

o Create and send estimate and any supporting documentation to insurance and / or field rep as needed

o Follow up on files to ensure progress is being made

o Build a rapport with the field reps

o Provide timely updates on status of projects

o Review claim and confirms what work was and was not completed

o Ensure claim meets general profit guidelines. If not, they negotiate with the insurance carrier to address differences

o Provide accounting team with documents needed to create a final invoice

o Sends insurance required documents once approved by accounting

o Includes commercial claims, metal roofs, cedar shake roofs, appraisal claims, etc.

o Ensure supplements are processed for all trades on the original estimate

o Send Gemstone documents to insurance
