The Staff Pad is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Lab Technician to join our client's laboratory team in Las Vegas, New Mexico. The Medical Lab Technician will be responsible for performing daily operations and testing in the laboratory, reviewing and maintaining quality control and preventative maintenance records, and managing inventory of laboratory supplies. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in laboratory science and have experience in a hospital laboratory setting, including a Bloodbanking area.
Responsibilities :
- Daily Operations : Perform routine laboratory tests and procedures, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all operations.
- Quality Control : Review and maintain quality control records to ensure compliance with established standards and protocols.
- Preventative Maintenance : Conduct and document preventative maintenance on laboratory equipment to ensure optimal functionality and reliability.
- Inventory Management : Monitor and manage inventory of laboratory supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels and proper storage.
- Record Keeping : Maintain accurate and detailed records of laboratory tests, procedures, and results.
- Compliance : Adhere to all regulatory and safety standards, ensuring a safe and compliant laboratory environment.
- Collaboration : Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely test results for patient care.
