About The Job:
The Staff Pad is looking for an experienced Medical Sonography Technologist to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art equipment and technology to perform diagnostic imaging procedures. Your strong communication skills and ability to explain complex medical procedures to patients will be essential in providing exceptional patient care.
- Explain procedures to patients and answer questions.
- Perform 2D and 3D ultrasonic imaging of internal organs.
Responsibilities:
- Verify patient identification and exam requests.
- Conduct measurements and documentation in line with protocols.
- Prepare and manage medications and equipment for procedures.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program with proficiency in various ultrasonography fields.
- Eligible for national registries in sonographic modalities.
Preferred Certifications:
- ARDMS registration in Abdomen, OB/GYN, or Vascular preferred, with current BLS certification required.
