About the Role
The Staff Pad is seeking a highly skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team in Helena, MT. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of surgical procedures by preparing the operating suite and maintaining a sterile environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist surgeons during operative and invasive procedures, maintaining a sterile field and ensuring the availability of necessary instruments and supplies.
- Monitor PAR levels of surgical instruments and supplies, placing orders and organizing stock as needed.
- Clean and sterilize all surgical instruments according to established protocols.
- Handle medications under the direct supervision of the surgeon or nurse.
Requirements
- Minimum of three years of experience as an operating room technician or certification in OR technology.
- Ability to function independently as an operating room scrub in all surgical specialties.
- Current BCLS (Basic Life Support) Certification required.
