Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at The Staff Pad.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist pharmacists in providing safe and effective medication therapy to patients.
- Knowledge of pharmacy dispensing systems including unit dose, IV admixture, and outpatient prescription processing.
- Broad knowledge of drug therapy in different patient age groups.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and conversions within and between systems of measurement.
- Aseptic technique in the compounding of IV admixtures if required in practice location.
- Knowledge of drug nomenclature including brand and generic names.
- Compliance with pharmacy law and regulations.
- Proficiency in using computer software and internet applications.
Education and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Licensure as a pharmacy technician in good standing in the State of Montana.
