Job Description
The Staff Pad has partnered with Blue Ridge Medical Center, a leading healthcare institution in Georgia, to fill a Physical Therapist position.
Shift: 8:00am-5:00pm
Position Purpose
To deliver exceptional patient care through thorough evaluations, personalized therapy plans, and ongoing treatment implementation. Our goal is to restore function, prevent disability, and promote the physical therapy profession through education and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop tailored therapy plans based on evaluation results.
- Implement and adjust treatment programs as needed to optimize patient outcomes.
- Provide education and guidance to patients and their families on treatment plans and rehabilitation strategies.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless and effective patient care.
- Promote the physical therapy profession through teaching and mentoring students and staff.
- Maintain accurate records of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
- Participate in community outreach and educational initiatives related to physical therapy.
- Ensure patient confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all interactions.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Physical Therapy from an accredited college.
- Graduation from a physical therapist education program approved by CAPTE or its successor organization.
Experience
- Relevant experience in physical therapy; new graduates welcome.
- Licenses/Certificates:
- Current Georgia state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
- Current CPR certification.
