Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Full-Time Sales Associate to join our client's team at their boutique store located inside John Wayne Airport in Santa Ana, CA. The ideal candidate will have experience in retail sales, a passion for providing excellent customer service, and familiarity with retail software such as Excel, iVend, and SAP. Experience with customs procedures is a plus.
Key Responsibilities :
- Welcome customers to the store and provide exceptional sales service, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Assess customers' needs, provide information on product features, and offer product demonstrations and recommendations.
- Process POS (point-of-sale) transactions accurately, including handling returns.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the store, including stocking shelves, arranging displays, and ensuring merchandise is presented in a neat and visually appealing manner.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and store goals.
- Actively seek out customers in the store, cross-sell products, and upsell to drive sales.
- Build productive trust relationships with customers and handle inquiries and complaints efficiently.
- Participate in inventory management, including receiving and checking merchandise deliveries, and ensuring the accuracy of inventory / stock.
- Work with the Buying team for stock replenishment and the Marketing team for promotions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, inventory control procedures, and airport regulations, including assisting with customs procedures as required.
