What are the responsibilities and job description for the GENERAL LABOR position at The Staffing People?
Moving of inventory, lifting, bending, stooping.
Frequent heavy lifting of 50 pounds. Due to sensitive products a clean background is required.
Job Duties Include :
Ability to lift and carry 30-50 pounds with assistance.
Responsible for cleanliness of all building areas including halls, bathrooms, classroom, cafeteria, library, lounge, and office area.
Responsible for minor maintenance repairs, & replacement of toilet holders, pencil sharpeners, light bulbs, etc.
Responsible for security of buildings.
Responsible for care and maintenance of custodial equipment and supplies.
Responsible for the orderly storage of custodial supplies and equipment.
Responsible for removal of and deposit of trash and waste in appropriate containers.
Responsible for assisting in cleaning and maintaining grounds and shrubs as directed by the Facilities Director, Principal, or Superintendent.
Responsible for assisting in the general operation and welfare of buildings, grounds, and personnel.
