What are the responsibilities and job description for the PARTS DELIVERY DRIVER position at The Staffing People?
Delivery driver that will deliver supplies to job sites. This employee will be loading and unloading construction supplies.
Job Responsibilities :
Drive a work van or truck to work sites. Unload building materials from the truck. Maintain inventory controls through minimizing material damages and ensuring order accuracy. Keep all work areas organized and free of debris. Ensure all required documentation is complete, accurate and done in a timely manner. Provide customer service. Ensure that equipment is maintained and report any issues to supervisors immediately. Follow all DOT requirements and applicable road laws. All other duties as assigned. Follow all safety policies and procedures; including proper lifting techniques.
Must be 21 years old and have a valid driver s license. Must have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report (MVR). Driving experience is required. Ability to lift up to 75 pounds. Ability to stand and / or walk for the majority of the shift. Ability to wear all required PPE to include steel toed boots. Dependable, on time and motivated to complete the job accurately, safely and efficiently. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to understand written and / or verbal instruction.
