Repair Technician (Aviation / Aerospace)

Location : Sarasota, FL 34243

Salary : $23-25 / hour

Schedule : Monday-Thursday, 5 : 00 am - 3 : 30 pm (Enjoy a 3-day weekend!)

Summary : The overhaul technician performs maintenance, repair, and overhaul of complex aircraft components.

Qualifications :

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum prior experience in a mechanical profession required. 1-2 years in aviation / aerospace repair or repair shop experience preferred.
• A&P certificate highly desired but not required.
• Proficient in writing reports for quality.
• Ability to read and write in English required.
• Must be willing to be respirator trained.
• Must be able to assemble and troubleshoot complex mechanisms.
• Must be able to read and comprehend detailed technical maintenance instructions.
• Must be able to learn how to perform new tasks quickly.
• Experience using digital and analog micrometers and other tools.
• Understanding of electrical / electronic principles including Ohm s law.
• Experience with soldering and brazing preferred.
