Job Description
Gas and Construction Inspector
Salary : Up to $40 / hr DOE
Industry : Defense / Engineering
Location : Spring Valley, NY 10977
Schedule : M-F 8AM-5PM
Employment Type : Contract-to-hire
Requirements :
- HS Diploma with 3-5 years of experience and training in excavation, road, or utility construction with an emphasis on electric installations, plastic pipe installation, welding, and steel pipefitting.
- Inspectors must possess managerial skills, computer literacy, and a working knowledge of the utility industry.
- Must be able to read and interpret drawings, maps, plans, specifications, and procedures. They must possess the ability to keep accurate and detailed field records including daily job reports, material usage and locations and field test records.
- Be knowledgeable in the requirements of OSHA
- NGA trainings required
- Must be a US Citizen or Perm Resident
