Maritime Mission Planner

Salary : $102k / yr.

Location : Fort Bliss, TX (on-site)

Job Summary : Maritime Domain Subject Matter Expert responsible for the integration of full spectrum naval capabilities into multi-domain scenarios / mission threads that support the U.S. Army Joint Modernization Commands worldwide, multi-echelon, joint and multi-national future force live, virtual, and constructive simulation experiments.

Required Qualifications :

BA / BS degree
10 years of USN fleet operations experience.
5 years of experiment / exercise scenario / mission thread development and MSEL writing experience.
Prior experience with experiment / exercise concept development, planning, event response and control cells, and assessment.
U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain TS clearance.

Responsibilities :

Ensure experiment / exercise maritime objectives are supported by scenario / mission thread elements, storylines, and MSEL implementers (Intelligence reports, message traffic, assessments, etc.).

Ensure maritime scenario / mission thread elements, storylines, and MSELS are linked to appropriate simulation activities and databases, Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence (C4I) stimulus, order of battle rosters, and other supporting technical or operational means as necessary to satisfy experiment / exercise objectives.

Provide maritime expertise and support on applicable tactical and operational-level joint, multi-national and service doctrine associated with experiment / exercise planning / execution.

Participate in the development of (maritime-related) After Action Reports based on observations of operational unit / role players during experiment / exercise execution.
