Stamford Hospital is seeking a Part Time Psychiatric Tech to work in our 20-bed Psychiatric unit.Psych Tech will provide a safe and supportive environment and implement the patient's care plan to achieve their therapeutic goals. Responsibilities include Activities of Daily Living (ADL) assistance, de-escalation, and patient rounds. This position may float to our pediatric psych unit.Schedule : Nigh shift, 7 : 00pm-8 : 00am, 2 shifts per week, rotating weekends and holidaysSome portions of daily assignments involve prolonged standing, transporting material, equipment, patients, or lifting, moving, or carrying heavy (over 30 pounds) for intermittent periods throughout the day.About Stamford HealthStamford Health is a non-profit independent healthcare system with more than 3,500 employees committed to compassionately caring for the community and offering a wide-range of high-quality health and wellness services.
