Job Summary
In this role, you will be responsible for managing and processing supplemental insurance claims. This includes handling claims from intake through payment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in adjudication. You will provide exceptional customer service, resolve issues, and maintain effective relationships with claimants and stakeholders. Your duties also involve verifying eligibility, calculating payments, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the customer experience and operational efficiency.

Job Summary

This includes handling claims from intake through payment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in adjudication. You will provide exceptional customer service, resolve issues, and maintain effective relationships with claimants and stakeholders. Your duties also involve verifying eligibility, calculating payments, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the customer experience and operational efficiency.
- Manage and process supplemental insurance claims from intake to payment (40%)
- Verify eligibility and adjudicate claims, including calculations and documentation (30%)
- Handle claim payments and manage issues related to misplaced or lost checks (10%)
- Identify, investigate and report potential misrepresentation of claims (10%)
- Drive continuous improvement and collaborate on workflow enhancements (10%)
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, remote environment is a requirement of the role. *
- Must-Haves:
- High School Diploma/GED
- 1 years of experience in claims submission, communication, eligibility verification, or processing
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Teams)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail
- Preferred:
- Associate’s degree or higher
- Experience with supplemental insurance claims
- Familiarity with claims management strategies and customer service
- Ability to handle complex claim issues and contribute to process improvements
