The Housekeeper position is an invaluable position at The Stanford Inn at Wilderness Road as their position sets the stage for our guest's first impression of our beautiful spaces, amenities, and experiences. This position creates and maintains an experience that will exceed guests' expectations. This position is responsible for ensuring all of The Stanford Inn’s guest-facing spaces are cleaned and reset to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize all the Stanford Inn guest houses, inn rooms, common areas, and meeting spaces to the highest standards of cleanliness, following a checklist and as assigned.
- Assist with reporting any maintenance or repair needs in accommodations, common spaces, and meeting areas.
- Assist in handling laundry services for all Stanford Inn spaces and Esther's Wellhouse, as well as event needs.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and orderly Laundry Facility
- Help ensure cleaning supplies and equipment are properly stocked and maintained.
- Provide a warm, friendly, and professional demeanor when interacting with guests and colleagues.
- Adhere to safety and health protocols, including proper use of applicable cleaning chemicals and standard operating procedures.
- Assist with special cleaning projects (e.g., deep cleaning, regular upkeep projects, seasonal decor changes) as directed by management.
- Assist with events set up and take down.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Hospitality industry experience is preferred but not required. On-the-job training is provided.
- Attention to detail, time management skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and with a team.
- Ability to follow directions and receive constructive feedback
- Ability to work at a fast pace.
- Communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional and courteous attitude when interacting with guests and team members.
- Flexible to work, including weekends and holidays, and various shifts are required.
