JOB SUMMARY:
This is a senior-level staff position which performs the most complex work assigned under the direction of the Intra-Departmental Project Administrator - REV and the Senior Management Analyst Supervisor (SMAS) in the Contract Management Unit of the Child Support Program. This position works with key internal and external partners in the operation of the purchasing services necessary for the operation of the CSP in the Department of Revenue (DOR). This is a highly responsible position involving procurement of a variety of specialized service including preparation of bid specifications, bid documents, evaluating bid responses for compliance, and analyzing Contract Management operations.
- Work with the Purchasing Office and subject matter experts to develop competitive solicitations for purchase of services.
- Draft requirements, deliverables, performance measures and other contract terms.
- Initiate and manage State Term Contract procurement actions.
- Prepare business cases, contract amendments, extensions and renewals.
- Route contract documents for review and approval.
- Review and approve contract deliverables and invoices.
- Develop, implement and report on contract monitoring plans.
- Schedule, facilitate and lead meetings, prepare agendas, draft minutes.
- Maintain records.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Two years of full-time contract management or purchasing experience.
SUBSTITUTIONS:
- College education can substitute for the experience needed on a year for year basis.
PREFERENCES:
- Preference will be given to applicants with an active Florida Certified Contract Manager (FCCM) or Florida Certified Contract Negotiator (FCCN),
- Experience with MyFloridaMarketPlace (MFMP) to include creating contract workspaces and contract-based invoices
SPECIAL NOTES:
- This role is eligible for telework after you complete required training and reach an acceptable level of proficiency.
- Successful completion of training in contract management and certified contract manager training within six months of hire.
SALARY: $49,584.72 - $66.140.88.
