Minimum Qualifications:


  • Answers to qualifying questions must be verifiable within the work and/or educational history.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The Commission expects its employees to be courteous and respectful while assisting Commission customers and stakeholders, ensuring each encounter is as positive as possible. Employees should promptly resolve questions or problems relating to the Commission, its programs and/or fish and wildlife resources. Employees should seek to gain public support for agency objectives and programs by serving Florida' s citizens in a positive and proactive manner and by listening to what the customer wants and striving to meet their needs. When appropriate, employees will explain the reasons for agency actions or decisions while communicating a consistent FWC point -of -view. Responsible for following the provisions and requirements in Section 215. 422, Florida Statutes, related to the Department of Financial Services rules and FWC' s Invoice processing and warrant distribution procedures. Work at FWC is cross -functional meaning duties may cross division/ office lines. The Commission expects employees to function across FWC' s organizational structure by providing their skills and expertise wherever needed through work on teams or as directed.

FleetWave

  • The primary duties for this position involve maintaining and analyzing information within the FleetWave system.
  • Develop and conduct Training on the FleetWave system for the agency.
  • Audits the monthly vehicle operation and use reports from employees.
  • Analyzes discrepancies in monthly log reporting and recommends solutions to correct them.
  • Inputs all new mobile equipment based on FleetWave requirements.
  • Audits FleetWave data and makes applicable corrections.
  • Performs a monthly comparison of FleetWave data to the FLAIR property subsystem and makes corrections as needed.
  • Provides FleetWave reports to the Divisions/ Offices and responds to inquiries, notifications and concerns.
  • Run detail listing of fuel gallons entered monthly in FleetWave and compare with fuel gallons purchased using the WEX fuel card. initiate corrective actions for fuel gallon discrepancies.

Manages surplus property Including the following:

  • Automated Surplus Workflow
  • Responsible for the review and completion of the automated surplus form.
  • Responsible for notifying custodians of " 3D- day pending" workflow actions.
  • Responsible for the depreciation and deleting of non - mobile and mobile equipment in FLAIR.

Knowledge, skills, and abilities, including utilization of equipment, required for the position:

  • Knowledge of property management principles and practices.
  • Ability to prioritize work load.
  • Ability to develop various reports.
  • Ability to direct record -keeping activities.
  • Ability to assign property numbers and tags.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.

Working Hours:

5 Days, 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.
