In this role, you will be collecting tangible evidence by subpoena or other means such as interviewing complainants, healthcare professionals, and witnesses. Some onsite visits to practices and facilities may be necessary for this role. At times, this position may be required to provide testimony at depositions, public hearings, and courts of law.
Successful applicants in this position are familiar with statutes and regulations that relate to the Healing Arts Act or other health professions’ practice acts. Medical Investigators will at times be required to coordinate investigative activities with other entities. The subject matters that are being investigated and inspected require the Medical Investigator to effectively communicate with a broad spectrum of health care professionals, complainants, witnesses, legal professionals, law enforcement, and others, both verbally and in writing.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Completion of an Associates or Bachelor program from an accredited college or university, in a health care related field.

- Education, training, and/or experience investigation allegations of sexual misconduct.
