Compensation: $39,852.80 to $46,092.80 /Annual ($19.16 to $22.16/Hourly)*
- Offered salary will be determined by education, experience, or qualifications. Though this position is unclassified, the posted starting salary is equivalent to classified Pay Grade 25, step 6-12. Please contact Recruitment Coordinator for further details.

Position Summary & Responsibilities
Position Summary:
This position supports the Programs Director and Reentry in identifying residents who need CBT programming; assists in analyzing data regarding program participation including preparing reports of program completion; assists in administering various aspects of programs, including upkeep/updates on curricula; scheduling training of facilitators; scheduling training of trainers. This position prepares dashboards, reports and other documents as directed to reflect information about programming.
Job Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:
This position provides administrative support to KDOC programs.
Assists the Programs Director and team in identifying residents who need CBT programs, including sex offender, substance abuse, thinking errors, and otherwise; helps build groups; helps administrative aspects of getting offenders to the right groups. Supports the work of Program Providers by assisting in tracking program participation, completion, moves, etc. Assists in analyzing data regarding program participation including preparing reports of program completion. Assists the Programs Director in tracking progress reports and discharge summaries, spot checking for quality and timely completion.
Assists in administering the various aspects of programs, including upkeep/updates on curricula; scheduling training of facilitators; scheduling training of trainers; scheduling training for core correctional practices. Assists the fidelity team in scheduling trainings, on site observations sessions, preparing and tracking reports. Assists the Programs Director in personnel and fiscal issues as needed related to CBT programs.
Assists the Programs Director in preparing reports related to program needs and program credit. Prepares dashboards, reports, power points, or other documents as directed to reflect information about programming. Prepares reports reflecting program participation cross referenced to risk level and time to serve, to ensure offenders are receiving the right dose. Assists the Programs Director in reviewing data and preparing reports to implement strategies to try to avoid missing an offender who needs a program.
Assists the Programs Director in carrying out statewide meetings, Teams calls and training, as needed, for collaboration and capacity building. Assists the Programs Director in any aspect of administering programs as needed and directed.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Six months experience in planning, implementing and monitoring activities relevant to the agency's programs. Education may be substituted for experience as determined relevant by the agency.
Preferred Qualifications:
60 hours of college with at least 6 hours in corrections, law enforcement or a social science.
1 year experience in program administration.
1 year experience preparing reports from data.
1 year experience working in a correctional setting, working with OMIS and/or TOADS.
Demonstrated communication skills, written and verbal.
Demonstrated ability to work in a positive way with a team.
Demonstrated organization skills.
