Main Purpose of Job
This position provides the full performance level of clinical psychiatric services to adolescents suffering from serious emotional behavioral health care issues. Psychiatric treatment, including psychiatric evaluations, psychopharmacology, and supervision of the clinical team is provided in a 24 / 7 facility, RICA-Baltimore, by licensed and board-certified psychiatrists.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Education : Determined by the Maryland State Board of Physicians under the licensing requirements for Physicians.
- Experience : As required for certification in Psychiatry by the American Medical Association Specialty Board or other Board approved by the Maryland Board of Physicians.
DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Preferred candidates should possess board certification in Child Psychiatry.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
Employees in this classification are subject to substance abuse testing in accordance with Code of Maryland Regulations 17.04.09, Testing for Illegal Use of Drugs.
