The State of New Hampshire, Department of Administrative Services, Division of Plant & Property has a part-time vacancy for a Chauffeur.
Summary: Performs routine duties involving the transportation of persons and/or materials by vehicle and acting as an escort/driver for State of New Hampshire employees. Performs routine maintenance on state vehicles as needed.

18 Months of additional relevant experience = Associate's degree
36 Months of additional relevant experience = Bachelor's degree

Other information:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: High school diploma or high school equivalency credential.
Experience: One year of experience as a driver of a passenger-type motor vehicle.
License/Certification: Valid New Hampshire operator's license appropriate to the vehicle used for transporting passengers. Must also possess passenger endorsement if driving a vehicle with 14 passenger capacity or greater.
Driving record must meet “safe driver” criteria during employment period.
Must show proof of or must successfully complete a state authorized defensive driving course during the probationary period.
Responsibilities:
Operates a vehicle to transport passengers to and from their personal vehicles for reasons related to parking control or inclement weather.
Maintains necessary travel expense records including shuttle departure and arrival times, passenger counts, and mileage and fuel information.
Answers questions from passengers regarding the shuttle program.
Assists passengers with entering and exiting the vehicle if needed.
Ensures proper safety and welfare of passengers while operating the vehicle.
Conducts routine maintenance including fueling the vehicle, topping off fluids as needed, parking/storing the vehicle, checking tires, windshield wipers and oil levels; takes the vehicle for necessary cleaning, maintenance, and inspections.
Conforms to all state and local traffic laws and regulations regarding the operation of the shuttle vehicle.
