Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Application Developer to join our team and provide comprehensive development and support for our PeopleSoft Financials platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in application development, a deep understanding of PeopleSoft Financials modules, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver business-critical solutions.
Job Details
- Full-time 40-hour work weeks.
- Support the Information Services Division.
- Salary is up to $105,000.00 based on education and experience.
- This is an on-site position located in Oklahoma City, OK.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy customizations, enhancements, and integrations within the PeopleSoft Financials environment.
- Utilize PeopleTools (Application Designer, PeopleCode, Application Engine, Component Interface, etc.) to create and maintain application functionality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Perform regular system updates, patches, and upgrades in compliance with organizational and industry standards.
- Develop and maintain interfaces between PeopleSoft and other enterprise applications using Integration Broker, Web Services, and other integration tools.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across integrated systems.
- Partner with functional analysts, business stakeholders, and other IT teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Document technical designs, solutions, and system configurations for ongoing support and knowledge sharing.
- Monitor system performance and implement tuning and optimization strategies to enhance application efficiency.
- Ensure solutions adhere to security policies, compliance regulations, and best practices.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
This position works in a comfortable office setting with a computer for a large percentage of the workday. The noise level in the work environment is usually mild. Occasional travel may be required.
Minimum Qualifications
Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, and three years of experience with PeopleSoft Financials development and support.
Preference will be given to candidates who possess
- Proficiency in PeopleTools, including PeopleCode, Application Designer, Application Engine, SQR, BI Publisher, and SQL.
- Experience with PeopleSoft Financials modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Management, and Procurement.
- Strong knowledge of relational databases, particularly Oracle.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with PeopleSoft 9.2 and PeopleTools 8.5x.
- Familiarity with Agile or other SDLC methodologies.
- Knowledge of cloud integrations and migration strategies.
