Job Description
Position Overview
This is a full-time completely in-office position located in Oklahoma County.
The Grants Partner Support Specialist is a member of the Grants Management department, working closely with the Grants Managers and Director of Grants Management in all components of the grant making and contracting processes: grants development, processing, and implementation, and monitoring of grant contracts to assure regulatory compliance and progress toward objectives. The Grants and Contracts Associate works with the Director of Grants Management to facilitate quality service delivery to grantees through the application of sound grants management planning, implementation, budgeting, monitoring, closeout, and evaluation. In addition, the Grants and Contracts Associate is responsible for working with the entire TSET team to cultivate and sustain positive relationships with all grantees and partners.
The Grants Partner Support Specialist will assist with tasks related to solicitations and grant application management including the preparation of grant application guidance and requests for applications, receiving applications, facilitating grant review processes, and preparing recommendations for the board. The Grants and Contracts Associate also assists the Grants Management department in monitoring grants and contracts for initiatives approved by the Board for funding.
Compensation
- $51,500 based on education and experience.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and execute agreements for grantees
- Monitoring grantee reporting and requirement submissions
- Receiving and processing claims for reimbursement
- Assisting the monitoring of grantee spending and the execution of grantee budget reductions on an annual basis
- Stays abreast of all rules, including caps, allowable, and prohibited expenses as related to TSET grants budgets and works in concert with TSET Program Officers to ensure adherence to those rules.
- Assists TSET Director of Grants Management in working with other state, federal, and local public and private organizations to identify qualified professionals to serve on external expert review committees and provides staff support to facilitate the external review of proposals, as appropriate.
- Completes technical reviews for grant applications in concert with the TSET Director of Grants Management, as necessary.
- Assists in the preparation of materials for Board and committee meetings.
- Assists in organizing and executing grant applicant workshops and training as necessary.
- Serves as a key member of the TSET Grants Management Team for all things related to routine agency operations.
- Other duties as identified and assigned by the TSET Director of Grants Management.
- All other duties as assigned.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- This position is in a comfortable in-person office setting with a computer for a large percentage of the workday.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually mild.
- Travel in and out of state on an occasional basis may be required as part of performing essential duties satisfactorily.
Minimum Qualifications
- bachelor’s degree from an accredited university with at least three years of demonstrated experience in grants, contracts, or finance administration. Substituting one year of college for every year of qualifying experience.
Preferred Requirements, Special Skills or Knowledge
- Certified Procurement Officer
- Paralegal or contracting experience is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 0365 Suite
- Salesforce experience is preferred.
