About the Position
Join our team and make a meaningful impact in the field of behavioral health! We are seeking a Therapist Team Lead to provide leadership and oversight for a dedicated clinical team. This role is instrumental in guiding clinical care, supporting a designated caseload or population, and ensuring high-quality behavioral health services. The Therapist Team Lead will conduct assessments, provide psychotherapy, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to address both the physical and behavioral health needs of our consumers.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support clinical staff, ensuring the delivery of effective, recovery-focused care.
- Provide direct professional behavioral health services, including assessments and psychotherapy.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive treatment plans.
- Maintain compliance with clinical standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in on-call rotation as required.
Schedule & Compensation
- Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (some weekends and holidays required)
- Salary: $76,000 – $84,892.50 (commensurate with DMH experience and certifications)
Minimum Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a closely related field.
- Licensed to practice in Oklahoma through one of the following boards:
- Psychology
- Social Work (Clinical Specialty Only)
- Professional Counseling
- Marriage and Family Therapy
- Behavioral Practitioner
- Alcohol and Drug Counseling
(Examples: Licensed Psychologist, LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LBP, LADC, LADC/MH)
Special Requirements
- Must maintain a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel for job-related duties (e.g., training, meetings).
- Participation in on-call rotation is required unless exempted by the Executive Director.

About us: Griffin Memorial Hospital (GMH) is located in Norman, Oklahoma, and serves all 77 counties in Oklahoma as the Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (ODMHSAS) treatment center for adults. GMH provides community crisis stabilization and residential treatment for substance abuse and co-occurring mental health and trauma related conditions.
